I’ve been a dedicated customer of Halifax Motors for over 15 years. They have serviced and repaired my Honda, my BMW and my mini cooper countryman. The various services performed, brake jobs, oil changes, tire replacements were all completed in a timely fashion at a reasonable cost. ( compared to many other services shops both here and in Raleigh.)

I own a 2018 SQ5 with approx 109k miles. After being advised the engine required replacement, I authorized the repair, which was completed at a cost of $14,000. Upon picking up the vehicle, the coolant warning light came on during the test drive. The shop replaced the coolant reservoir, but the warning returned immediately when I picked it up again. I was then advised that the light had not appeared during their testing and that I could continue driving if I monitored the gauges. Given the extent of the repair, I do not feel this is an acceptable solution. Additionally, I reported engine oil overheating, but I have not received any response in the weeks since. BAD SERVICE THEY ACT LIKE IDiots The white mechanic ruined my dad’s Benz taillight and Had the nerve to ask Him do you want me to order the part ? Like a GOOFY! Do not go Here the mechanics are old and slow !

I was four hours into my 10 hour drive north on 95 when all my warning lights in my car went off and said I needed to get it to a shop pronto. I was in a complete panic and I wasn’t familiar with area at all. I stopped at a Firestone and they suggested Halifax Motors. I called Halifax and spoke to Chris whom told me to bring car right over. I just want to say that Chris and Marybeth, who works the desk, have me in tears with gratitude. Not only did Chris go above and beyond , Marybeth drove me to a hotel while I wait for parts to be delivered. This is truly AMAZING to me. These people have shown such kindness and concern for a complete stranger.and they are truly a reminder of how good hearted people are. I can’t thank Halifax Motors enough. They are angels in disguise.

I called to ask a simple question to sell my car or trade it in and the receptionists was rude said non and hung up in my face very unprofessional
