I brought my car in because my high beams (bright lights) didn't work. I was told it’s $180 to find the problem, and then they would give me a quote. They called back and told me there was a difficult wiring problem behind the dashboard and I would have to pay an additional $300 in labor on top of the initial $180. I would have to pay $480 to get a quote to fix the problem. I paid the $180 and left. I went to Toyota of Hollywood. It was $175 to find the problem. In 45 minutes they told me that one of the relays next to the fuse box under the hood was bad. Toyota of Hollywood used the same scanner that Hallandale Auto Electric used. Since it was only a relay that pops in and out, they were able to replace it in 1/2 hour. I like to support independent shops, but Hallandale Auto Electric

Went here for suspension parts replacement & my car was returned with the abs light on that wasn’t on when I brought it in. I drove back within 2 minutes of noticing that the abs light was on & asked the manager Marc Lopez why the abs light was on now when it wasn’t on when I brought it in & he actually told me that it was a coincidence that it just happened to be on after they worked on the suspension, they ran a code scan and it showed the wheel speed sensor was the cause for the abs light , so they obviously damaged it & instead of taking accountability for the damaged part I was now left without anti-lock brakes.Marc actually told me they could fix it if I paid for the part they damaged.
