I had a breakdown outside of Rapid and called. Directed to their shop and after some advice on my coolant leak, followed the instructions and repaired the leak myself. No charge. Who does that these days? Honesty and free help? They could of soaked me for hundreds of dollars but instead treated me like family. Super nice people!

My husband and I were vacationing in Rapid City when my husband noticed a problem with the brakes. Halvorsen’s got us in the following morning at 8:00 am and had everything fixed in just a few hours. Everything is working great and we were charged a fair price. My husband was very impressed by the owner and the customer service he received. Highly recommend this business.

It is a Sunday and we broke down while on a camping trip to SD. We called Halvorsen's and he said if we could get our truck to him he would help. We limped there and he stayed past closing time to help get us back on the road. A very nice hero!
