Hands On Auto Tech

Many years ago I needed something fairly simple - a bearing pressed into a hub. walked into hands-on and the owner said he'd just be sending it to another shop so I should save the money and get it done there, he told me where to go and was indeed treated well. but always nice when someone is willing to forego making some money to make life easier and cheaper for you. So recently I had a problem with my explorer which has 192,000 miles on it at this point. I took it to another mechanic and was quoted $5700 to fix it, and potentially more. brought it in here and Tom indicated he disagreed with the original assessment. Did a full inspection of the vehicle and documented things clearly along with guidelines on what really should be addressed, what could wait a while and what was optional... a

Hands On auto is hands down a 5 star Shop! I would recommend anyone to take their car there for maintenance/repairs. They're quick, knowledgeable, caring and confident in their work. Tom even hooked me up with a loaner car while my car stayed overnight. Although my repair was not easy on my wallet, they tried cheaper routes until finally the only route was the OEM option. Unsettling to say the very least but knowing my car was in the right hands helped overcome that feeling.

Just getting back on my feet from 2 years of surgeries, medical bills when my car broke down. Tom and entire staff at zHands on were incredible, in every way went over and above From prompt and upfront, clear information to even giving me a loaner to use so I didn't experience even more challenges. Attention Veterans, Tom is a a vet and he has been amazing. Trustworthy, fair and solid. Can't recommend them enough!!

Hands on tech is AWESOME! Been having them do work on my cars for 5+ years! Always customer oriented. Always keep you informed on what they are doing and how much it costs. My car has 113000 miles on it, runs great! Hands on tech is so much better than any dealership. I only trust them to work on my car.

I grew up with a family of mechanics and I have to say Tom at Hands On is one of the best mechanics……..and people……I have seen in the business. My car problem was my daughter’s car and 1/2 way across the country. Tom and I communicated often and well and he treated my daughter’s problem as though it was his own daughter.
