Awesome store and service. All the products are well organized, clearly marked, similar products are located close to each other, and the staff strikes the right balance between being easily accessible within seconds without bothering you. Ideal for discount hardware store/garage products at great low prices that still retain a respectable level of quality.

On December 19th, 2025 I received a 2 ton compact trolley jack delivered from Harbor Freight. When the item was opened as a Christmas gift we discovered the jack shipped to me did not have a handle or receipt/packaging information included. On December 26th I attempted to exchange or return the item at the Castleton store. The item was not in stock. I then attempted to obtain a refund. The young female clerk entered the item as "no receipt". I informed her that everthing I received was laying in front of her, including a box that clearly showed me as the recipient and enough information to pull the purchase up in their computer system. I was ignored. Total cost to me including shipping and tax was $63.11. The clerk handed me a receipt to sign that showed a refund of $32.09. I refused t

Great place and great prices went in for one thing got that one thing and got something free

Who doesn't do even-exchanges these days? Harbor Freight doesn't do even-exchanges. I bought a box of disposable nitrile gloves last week on sale and accidentally picked up the wrong size. When I went in today to swap boxes the older gentleman behind the counter did a return and new sale. All sizes are the same price on the shelf, but now they're twice the price. What a stupid policy, if it even is a policy. Poor customer service experience. Be prepared and double check products and sizes when you buy sales items at this establishment.
