Harley-Davidson Motor Company

Stopped by for a late evening tour, but my college friend who works security there said "No". What a jerk! Lol In his defense, there actually wasn't a tour. But I did get to hang out in the lobby and got a history of how this small town of 3500 people ended up with a Harley Plant there; it started with boats. The town actually was manufacturing fiberglass boats and Harley Davidson, more the Davidson half decided to get involved.

I worked in mfg and retired. Super happy we can still afford make stuff in our country. Keep up the good work. Look forward to the fall ride soon. Its not a store or gas station.

Great experience. The tour was well worth it. So much to see & so clean. The tour guide was friendly. The gift shop was fun, too.

They have there charging station listed on Plug Share as available to the public. My buddy pulled in late at night with 18 miles left on his Tesla. The HR manager came out and said we couldn't charge there. They knew we couldn't make it to any other charging station and they turned us away! Pretty heartless.

Harley Davidson is an American icon that spans decades back to 1903. Through the years their bikes have gotten better and better in many ways. They managed to survive mismanagement twenty years ago and now are better for it. The truest testament to Harley Davidsons success and image is this; just about every other motorcycle manufacturer have models trying to duplicate HD look and even sound (Indian is of course not included). There is no better sound and appearance on two wheels than a Harley Davidson!
