Harmon Senior Villas

The apartments are beautiful. But If you are on Social security only and don't get paid on the first, don't move there. Corporate won't let you pay your rent after the 3rd. They will charge you 10 percent after the 3rd. And corporate will Never answer a phone call or return your call.

This is supposed to be a 55+ senior community, or so we thought! It turns out that although you have to be 55+ to qualify, if you still have teens at home they can live here too. My mom has lived in 3 other senior communities and this was the only one that allowed kids to live there too. Now mind you she has nothing against kids except that they take over the pool (her most favorite thing to do!!) and the seniors get no time to enjoy it. There are no umbrellas around the pool area and no chaise lounges. The apartments are very nice and the rent is perfect for my mom but it looks like we’ll be hunting for another complex as are many others. Like others have said, there are no activities for the seniors, however, that ‘may’ come in time considering they are brand new. We’ll see. Oh, and w

People don’t clean up after their pets inside elevators and outside areas, bathroom faucet damaged when I moved in and never fixed or replaced when requested, (was told to try and clean it myself), air space is occupied by loud airplanes due to approach for landing at nearby airport and jets sharing the airspace over the apartments, apt complex backs up to industrial park buildings that are very loud when doors are open, apartments gym/workout room needs ventilation to air out perspiration odors and cool off workout area, also needs chemicals available to clean equipment before/after use of equipment.

Harmon senior villas is a great complex to live. Destiny has always addressed my concerns immediately or directed me on how to handle the situation. She is well aware on what is happening in the complex and definitely has the right personality to stop what she’s doing and spend the necessary time to understand each issue without me, as a person, feeling like a number of dismissed. Any maintenance issues are completed asap or if there is a problem I know oh w what’s going on instead of turning in a new request. We do have monthly events but at this time im too busy to attend any of these meetings.

I have really enjoyed living at Harmon Senior Villas. Destiny has been such a asset for Harmon Senior Villas. Her knowledge is outstanding. She is always kind. She is stern and fair to all of residents. As Destiny moves onto her next journey w/Mayfair . I hope she understands how much we will miss her.
