Hayden Independent Auto Service

We have been going to Hayden Independent Auto for years. Darren is very upfront and honest. He’s worked on three of our cars and done major repairs (new transmission) to brakes, A/C, leaks, and more. He always advises us on ways to save money if there is an option for that. With new vehicles being insanely expensive right now, we are so thankful Darren keeps our older ones running.

Darren is very honest and only repairs what is needed. This is by far the best shop around and the price is great! I will never go anywhere else for my mechanic needs! Thank you Darren and all the workers you are one of the only fair and honest shops is the area

I am fairly new to the area and I had been asking around about any good mechanics, when out of the blue I had a breakdown and had heard about Hayden Independent Auto service from a couple of different people so I called, spoke to Meg who told me how busy they were at the moment but she would try to get Darren to look at it Friday if at all possible. I told her that would be great. Darren called me Thursday afternoon as he was able to squeeze me in telling me what had broken down. Then Friday morning at around 9 AM he text me that he was able to get me in and fix my car ( better than it's run in a long time) I will be going to Hayden Independent for all my vehicle needs. The price was very fair as well.

Grateful for Darren's honesty and technical knowledge that resulted in a zero cost fix in less than 2 minutes! Darren solved a problem that the dealership service center couldn't figure out after we paid them for a full diagnostic. My daughter bought her first car a few weeks ago, a used 2012 Subaru Legacy with 150,000 miles. Her excitement of owning her own car was diminished by it occasionally stalling while trying to park (e.g. turning the steering wheel at low idol). Turns out a wire was disconnected from the power steering pump that controls the engine idol while turning the steering wheel. Darren spotted this immediately and sent us on our way without charging us for his time or talent. Thank you Darren for your upstanding business practice, you've earned my trust as a first time cus

I wish there was a way to rate Darren and his employees higher then 5 stars. They are 10 star worthy. I was travelling from SD to western WA and the carrier bearing on my driveline disintegrated, leaving me stranded nearly 60 miles from help. Not knowing the area at all, I did a google search and found this business but it was after hours. So. On a hope and a prayer my truck and travel trailer were towed there and dropped in his parking lot in the middle of the night. The next morning Darren came in and got things worked out in his schedule to where the repairs were made and I was headed west by noon. Amazing friendly service at its best. You just don't get that kind of service anymore.
