I recently brought my vehicle in for a state inspection, fully aware that some repairs were overdue. What really shocked me was the price difference between the dealership and Helix, as well as the level of care the mechanics at Helix took in properly diagnosing an issue with my vehicle losing motor oil. Helix asked me a series of questions about the car’s performance, my typical driving habits, and idling behavior in order to accurately diagnose the oil loss. This is something I have never experienced at a dealership, where the car is simply plugged into a computer and “losing oil” immediately translates to “replace the oil pump” — at a cost of $3,000. I came here after a VERY pricey trip to MINI of Mt Laurel and WOW, I was extremely pleased with the service I got. I roginlally brought it in with some concerns the dealership had highlighted and added a PA Inspection. However, the assured me that there were no issues warranting service and saved me literally hundred of dollars that I would have spent elsewhere. I needed to drop my MINI off after work and the night drop was a little tricky to find. However, once you get back behind the building, parking was ample and the night drop box was easy to use. I took my car to Helix and met Tim, explained the issue and he was able to diagnose what was wrong with the car after 2 days of holding on to it. What makes this experience the worst experience I have had is that I ended up paying over $200 and got my car back 2 days later in a worse condition than when I dropped it off. Make that make sense! When I told Tim about the issue, he casually brushed it off saying such things happen, which left a bad taste. When I started driving my car I noticed that the turn blinker was blinking really fast too. So in effect Helix charged me over $200 and returned my car with the headlight not working (the light was working when I dropped it off) and the turn signal blinker all messed up. I would not recommend anyone go to Helix unless they have money to wast

Had a great experience getting my 2005 Mini serviced and inspected at Helix. They are an incredibly knowledgeable group who were able to quickly diagnose a check engine light as well as provide advice on upcoming maintenance items and best bang-for-your-buck modifications to improve performance and driving feel. Will definitely visit again.
