Herson's Honda Service Center

The service that I was afforded at Herson’s Honda cannot be overstated. Nelson, who was my contact person for my repair, was kind, clear, patient and explained everything having to do with my issue. In this day, it is hard to expect good service and reliability. Yet that is exactly what I got. Good service, reliability, professionalism, kindness, and a more than fair price. Highly recommend, thank you to Nelson and the team at Herson’s Honda.

Herson’s was fabulous! I went to get a new FOB for my HRV because it was not working. I didn’t realize I needed an appointment. Fortunately, they could squeeze me in and offered me a shuttle service to my home. Later they discovered that the FOB remote wasn’t seated properly. So, they fixed the FOB and provided a shuttle for me to return to pickup my car. There was no fee for the fix and I saved over $400 for not getting a new FOB - like I said fabulous!

On my way to a family funeral—a woman traveling alone at dusk, I received a message to check the tire pressure. Panic! I hadn’t moved my tire gauge into my new accord hybrid so I had no idea whether the tire was low or the message was an anomaly. Further, I had no idea which gas stations even offered air since I live an hour away. I googled the nearest Honda dealer and found that Herson’s was 1.8 miles away. Nancy greeted me at the door, calmed me down, and said they’d look at the car right away. She was true to her word. Fortunately, there appeared to be no problem. Both front tires were low, which sometimes happens with extreme weather changes she said. They filled the tires to correct psi, reset the warning, and handed me back my keys. Avoid Herson’s Honda Service on Fredrick Road (355) if you want peace of mind with your vehicle. I took my 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid for spark plugs replacement and valve adjustment (cost: ~$1,200). The next day I drove the car for 50miles and overheating notification appeared on the dashboard. They couldn’t fix the issue. I thought it was the car’s issue and not the dealership. After 2weeks I again took in my brand new 2024 Honda CRV for 2nd oil change. The next day I drove the car for 20miles and it showed “emission system issue” With both cars having engine light issues from the same Herson Honda after a next day service is a red flag the dealership is not doing a great job. Pls avoid Herson Honda on Fredrick Road. They will mess your car up.

Jhostin was amazing!!!! Getting a new car is always stressful. Takes a ton of hours and I really was crunched on time. He made the process smooth.
