Hertz Car Rental - Baltimore - Reisterstown Road

Came to pickup a scheduled car, waited over an hour to get while only one other customer was help. Two managers sat in the office and did nothing even when I requested assistance. Ordered a sedan ended up with a minivan, the last car they had available. Took all the time in the world to process my pickup. Do whatever you can to avoid Hertz and schedule a rental at Enterprise. A joke of a company and store.

Usually the only time I leave reviews is when the service is absolutely horrible. I was very skeptical choosing this location after reading all the reviews. This place is only 5 minutes from my sister's house. I traveled from Washington to NJ/NY and then took a train to Baltimore. Had to rent a car to drive back to NJ to catch my plane. I eneded up choosing this place to help my sister out since she had to work at 9.30 am. We got there at 8.15am. Google and sign on door says place opens at 8am. Door was locked. As I was on the phone calling another location and about to get in my sister's car to leave, she pointed out the employee had arrived. To our surprise there was a guy in an office on the phone. We had to wait an hour for the vehicle we reserved months prior. And it wasn't just us.... There were around 10 other couples waiting for a reserved car as well. The only offer we received was a Kia Soul, which was a downgrade from our rental, but offered at the same price, "they can't change the rental price" we were told. When I walked into the parking garage they literally had one white Kia in the entire garage! And don't bother to call and make a complaint, the girl I spoke to said, very much out of boredom , " I'm sorry you had a bad experience, I'll make a note of it, any thing else?..." I should have checked the reviews as I've never seen a facility like this with such low ratings. Oh, and be prepared for what seems like a five mile ride from the airport. I like the car. But this location did not have dedicated parking for the return. And the charge fee was also little high. Was a good experience though.

Horrible experience to return my car. This location was supposed to be open on 12/31 according to their hours and it seemed like no one showed up for work. I was scheduled to drop my rental car off and had a flight out the next day. Because I couldn’t drop my car off during the scheduled drop off time, I had to rearrange my travel plans which was costly! Do not recommend renting with Hertz.
