Hertz Car Rental - Columbus - Columbus West Hle

Rented cars and several Tacoma trucks from this location. Matt at the body shop is the best ever body shop. And carol i think her name is, the mgr at this rental location is such a sweetheart. I've had all 5 star service from this car rental location the many times I've been here. I'll be back again soon. I just hope she's still there when I do!

I wouldn't never recommend them. I rented a car and I own pets and pet hair got in to the rental car and they wanted me to pay for the car to be cleaned. I never put my pets in the rental car. The pet hair was transferred from my cloths. Plus they never notified me about it. They put me on do not rent list. I dealt with Enterprise and never had any issues. I would recommend people go there and not hertz. Hertz has very poor customer service. I try to get of the do not rent list but they refuse to do anything.

BEWARE DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! My car was broken into July 4. I left my vehicle here and went to visit family out of town upon returning my vehicle was broken into! Hertz told me to take it up with my insurance. Leaving my car on their property it was vandalized completely unacceptable!! They were not remorseful at all!!! Someone else said the same thing happened to them weeks ago!!!! The neighborhood and building is disgusting!!!

I just want to give a shout out to Carol at Hertz. This is the second time I have gotten a rental from this location and both times the staff has been so nice and helpful. This second time was unfortunately due to an accident, and Carol has been genuinely kind and helpful, and the young man who processed my pickup, I forget his name, was great too!! Top notch professionalism, and prompt response. Enterprise downtown told me to pickup my car at 4pm on a Friday; then after walking there, told me they had no inventory, Carol had me in a car monday morning no issues at all.

It’s is a little office and hard to find. You will enter through carstart parking lot and come around following the arrows leading to the carstar office. Then you will see a hertz sign make the right and office will be to your left. It is a small building. Customer service was fine.
