Hertz Car Rental - Fairfield - Dixie Highway

From the moment I stepped into the rental place I felt at ease. The gentleman behind the counter was helping another customer and he was so engaging and friendly. I kept looking at him like I knew him from somewhere. When it was my turn to interact, I told him who he looked like and turns out it was his brother! We went on taking about that I didn't get his name and I'm sorry for that. He told me he didn't think that I was coming but he looked at the reservation and saw that I was flying in because I was returning the car to the airport. Now this is what I call customer service at its best! My flight was delayed and he could have given the car to someone else but didn't thank God! This shit needs closed down what is the point in making a reservation if the rules and the price just change completely when you try to pick up the car, OH and hope you dont ever do anything on a Saturday either since they have thay set up to charge you extra for time you dont need their car. Dont quite understandable how this could happen but after reserving the car for a single day and booking, I was informed at the pickup id actaully be charged for 4 days. Obviously I declined considering the price had quadrupled from what I was quoted. Now im in the fantastic position of no transportation to my non refundable hotel and its 6pm so im not even able to continue looking. Thanks HERTZ this wqs supposed to be my birthday gift to myself

I wouldn't even give a one but I have to. The car I picked up was clean on the inside but filthy on the outside with chalk marks on the windows. The inside of the car smelled like sauerkraut for a reason , I do not know. My rental was 4 days and because I took the car back on Sunday night.I was charged for a fifth day. I have an estimate that clearly shows I was going to be charged for 4 days but there was no getting around the AI that took my call and I was charged for that fifth day. I tried to ask for a human but was told the weight would be too long. This is just bad business.

The customer service here is way too laid back and disrespectful. I have noticed that they please based off of who you are I have watched them put folks in luxury cars and then they place you in a pinto. This is the only Hertz by my home I love Hertz but this particular one is very unprofessional especially the Latasha lady. This is my second time renting from there and they placed me in a car that is horrible. To were now I have to go back and get another. Why not check these cars before you give them to customers. I drive back and forth out of town for work and had to get a rental due to someone totaling my car they gave me a car that doesn't have heat and won't exchange it and hung up on me.

The crew at Hertz Car Rental - Fairfield - Dixie Highway are the best! Tasha Hill and Mea Williams are very customer service oriented and always have big beautiful smiles. The gentleman that took the reservation but lost business card with his name, explains everything in detail and what option is best for you. Highly recommend!
