Hertz Car Rental - Glendale - South Brand Boulevard

I rented a car here and everything was fine.The customer service was great up until I returned the car. I left a very expensive sun visor in the car. I called the next day, as soon as I realized I had left it in there. I left several messages and spoke to the manager, Juanzelle, who was going to get back to me and never did. I left several messages. No return call. I'm so not happy with the customer service after return. I understand perhaps they didn't find it, but I should have still gotten a call back. Someone there has sticky fingers! I will never go there again!

I paid in advance for a car, and when I arrived they said they didn't have any cars for me. I made the reservation early in the morning, and they had all day to contact me to tell me that they didn't have the car I paid for (my pickup time was schedueld for the late afternoon). I can't tell if this is a ploy charge more for bigger cars or what, but it was a complete waste of my time, and very unprofessional. I went down the street to Enterprise and they were super helpful and friendly so I'd advise going there instead of Hertz. They've lost me as a customer.

I think this location deserves a better review. I rented a car for a few days while my own car was in a nearby dealership for service. I booked the car online and received exactly what I wanted. I was a bit worried after reading some of the other reviews, but my experience turned out to be very positive. I arrived early on a Monday morning before opening time and was third in line. Despite the busy start, the lady at the counter was polite and professional. The car wasn’t perfectly clean inside, but that seemed to be due to the previous customer not taking care of it — not really the fault of Hertz. The pickup process was quick and smooth, with no issues at all.

You would think Hertz is a reputable company, but this branch applying common fraudulent practices in order to lure you into booking and then upsale to something different and twice more expensive. We booked our car in advance and arrived exactly at the time of a booking only to find out that we will be placed on a wait list and maybe get a car in the afternoon or maybe next day, I.E. we were proposed to sit and wait till next day probably I don't know. Despite the fact that I mentioned there are three cars like ours on the parking lot, they said they all booked by someone else meaning that our booking wasn't a priority for them. Of course all of a sudden very pretty lady said let me talk to my manager and came back with an offer twice more expensive for a next size car. At that moment yo

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Just like a few others have mentioned, this place is not reliable and doesn't honor online bookings. I reserved a car online and prepaid for it, only to be told by the extremely rude lady I spoke to: "Just because you paid for a car online, doesn't mean you get to have a car". And then proceeds to tell me to call customer service to cancel the reservation. Btw, she also adds that I would be subject to their cancellation policy!! Reserving a car at this location was a big mistake. This completely ruined our trip. I suspect they don't honor online bookings so that they can rent out the cars for a higher price at the counter.
