Hertz Car Rental - Honolulu - Kalewa Street

This was my first experience renting a car from Hertz, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. As a well-known car rental brand, I hoped for a smooth process, but it was quite the opposite. I received a text about online check-in for faster service, but when I attempted to check in through the app, it indicated that no cars were available. When I arrived at the counter, I encountered a long line for check-in. After finally checking in, we faced another long wait at the car pickup area, where there were not enough vehicles available. We ended up waiting nearly 30 minutes to receive a car, which felt very chaotic. There was a huge line so we expected to be there for a long time. Someone else came in and we were at the desk in just a few minutes. The staff was helpful and professional. We followed their directions and had no problems at all.

No body works there? Don’t answer the phone I get the same car that’s broken or something wrong it . Like the one I get. I gotta jumpstart it myself cause can’t reach none of them. Do not book through this rental agency. We had a confirmed reservation and showed up to the location and nobody was inside the building to help us with the door locked. Couldn't reach a person on the phone either. Ended up cancelling and going through another rental agency to book a car.

Need lots of time for waiting in line cus there’s only one person for serving around 20 or more people But the car is good
