Hertz Car Rental - Lynbrook - Horton Avenue

I have been taking so many rentals from this same station. Cars were always clean, easy deals, meets my requirements, mostly all the makes are from 2024/2025 year, easy return without hassles. Customer Services were always professional. But nowadays price are getting higher, I would recommend to book the car asap. Best wishes to Hertz

Ok let me start by saying, I rent cars regularly from Enterprise and Hertz. The Lynbrook Hertz location has become my GO TO location. I'm going to be very clear here, the cars (like every car rental company and location) have their issues at times, the key for me has been the staff and their customer care. They have been IMPECABLE with their attention to detail and their problem solving mannerisms. I am OBSESSED with customer service and would not continue coming back here if it wasn't for the consistent exceeding of my expectations in an overarching way. Monica, Chris, Natasha and Jigs (their manager) each have contributed in their own unique way to my family choosing this Hertz location as our preferred rental place over and over. ⭐️ I wish I could give 0 stars, but I’ll give 1 for the young gentleman who actually tried to help and ease my concerns. After waiting almost an hour with no greeting, no apology, and no acknowledgment, the experience felt completely unprofessional — honestly, the definition of a chop shop. I reserved online in advance and only recently started using Hertz because my employer partners with them. Every other location, especially airport branches, has been A+. But this location was awful from start to finish. I booked a standard 7-seater and noticed there was no middle seat, so I asked about where to safely place my infant. I went to a body shop and was referred to this Hertz for an insurance rental. I was very clear with the manager Jigs Patel, that I did not want to pay for anything more than insurance would cover. Knowing this, she initially placed me in a Jeep Wrangler that insurance didn’t cover, assuring me she would adjust the amount later. After calling the at fault party’s insurance I went back to the Hertz and dealt with Jigs to change the vehicle. When it came time to return the vehicle Jigs was on vacation and I was told I would have to wait until she returns. On multiple occasions I was told to come in under the assumption that Jigs would be there and she wasn’t. If I could, I would give this place a negative rating. This experience was a bait and switch operation. Came, my car that I reserved was not on site and was not going to ever be on site. To make things worse, there was no car available at all for hours. The 3 women in this place were rude, unprofessional and not pleasant. One went and got a vehicle from another place and I thought I would get that vehicle. But there was a guy who was returning a different vehicle, who reeked of Marijuana, and he got that vehicle instead if me!! Do not go to this place!
