Hertz Car Rental - Pembroke Pines West - Pines Blvd

The car had roaches and ants , when I complained to customer service the representative advised me to buy insect spray🫣. This is my worst experience in life with Hertz. Hertz kept billing my cards on file because I was past the due date. The app would not allow me to use my saved card. It was just terrible Hertz. Customer support had me on hold for 20 minutes. Don’t forget her first question was”what’s a good call back number?” What was the sense. She never called back when the call got cut off. Terrible Service .

I had a really stressful experience after being in a car accident, but Justin at Hertz made the rental process so much easier. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and professional, and made sure everything was handled smoothly. I really appreciated his support during a tough situation. Thanks again, Justin!

I don’t recommend this place at all. I had a reservation for 12pm on Saturday for a 7 passenger vehicle. It was last minute as my dad needed a rental vehicle for 7 passengers to attend a funeral in Orlando. When we got to this location at 12pm, they denied us entry since they were closed. Why does it allow reservations for 12pm if you close exactly at 12pm? To avoid us, the front clerk went to the back and hid as I knocked on the door for assistance. She refused to attend to us or even acknowledge our presence. The least she could have done was cancel my reservation. There were no other 7 passenger vehicles available at any other location or business. What shocked me was the lack of professionalism and courtesy by the employee working on 10/11/2025. I prepaid for my vehicle with my chime credit card. Paid for an uber to get to Hertz just for them to say they do not accept chime credit cards for deposits. I asked to switch to my Bank of America debit card, then they told me they’d have to switch my vehicle, but there are none available. I asked for my deposit back, they made me call customer service instead of cancelling my reservation from the counter while I was there. Now I have to wait 7-10 business days to receive my deposit back, when people get their rental deposits back the same day after a return. This makes absolutely no sense. Hertz should state clearly what banks cards they do not accept and they should not take an upfront payment from a card that a person can not use at the counter for the deposit! Had a last minute same-day rental and Sigrid and Justin came through for me. This location was also super convenient as it's close to work so everything worked out perfectly. I would gladly use them again!
