Hertz Car Rental - Philadelphia - Frankford Avenue

PERMANENTLY CLOSED. I've had a reservation for several months, and even had a reminder a few days before, just to arrive to a permanently closed location, that had been closed for several weeks already, and no one at Hertz thought to tell me. Fortunately I got an upgrade at the train station location to make up for it.

Edit: Last 2 visit was positive, that's why I changed 1 star to 4 star. Front desk attendant was very helpful recently although I didn't get a car again. I think bad experience is mainly because of Hertz rather than staff here: - Terrible mobile && web software. - Terrible phone customer support. - No free upgrade if the exact segment car is not available at the time of rental. I mean if I am not able to rent that car from the location. Why do you let me reserve&&pay then make me deal with a car that don't exist. Terrible experience during Labor Day Weekend: Booked and pre-paid a rental. Arriving at the location, although there are 5 cars available none of them are given because supposedly claimed by insurance. When I arrived to pick up the car I had to wait a very long time to get helped. I also had to wait extra time because the car needed to be vacuum and the same guy was doing both things. My rental only had 47 miles of gas. The next day the light for the tire needing air came on and 2 days later the light for servicing oil came on and the cars engine was a bit loud I guess from needing oil. Will definitely not recommend this place or will ever use it myself again.

The rental was very reasonable. The car was ready to go when we got there. The woman behind the counter was nice and friendly she knew the answers to all my questions about the suv we were renting. The car was clean and no problems with it. Would definitely recommend this place. One thing they do not accept your bank debit card for deposit. Credit card only. I will be back

Renting from this company was smooth and easy. I had a good experience with everything as well as the ladies who were working. The rates are awesome and I enjoyed the vehicle since I do not have one right now. I would suggest they add scrappers to their vehicles in the winter. I had to break the ice with my hands to see.
