Hertz Car Rental - San Antonio - I-35 Frontage Road

I have rented from here a few times now. I always receive exceptional service from Gio. I must not forget to mention the stellar singing performance that I received when I picked up this time. Everyone in that office location is awesome. This is the location on IH35 access road , 78233 zip code. I was trying to leave another great review and it brought me back to my previous one. I have again rented a vehicle from the same location and , again, received exceptional service from Gio!!! She is great. They didn’t have the vehicle I reserved but she upgraded me at no additional charge. She is always pleasant and very accommodating to your needs. I only use this location and it is because of Gio!! She always provides excellent service!!!!!

Fix your reservation system to only show available vehicles or honor the prepaid reservation price because it is not customer's fault. I don't want to be hit with additional charges at the time of pickup just because you don't have the vehicle type available for prepaid reservation. I have been to this location multiple times and they always try to charge me more than the prepaid reservation rate citing many reasons.

Worst car rental experience of my life. Reserved car online two days ahead of time. When I got to the rental lot there were no associates to help me. I waited in line for almost 15 minutes before being told that the car I reserved wasn’t available and was shown two other vehicles. I chose one of them which was on the lot with the windows down. After completing the paperwork we went out to check the condition of the vehicle. I asked if they could wash it because it was covered in mud. They informed me that they weren’t able to wash it at that location and that they’d give me $8 if I wanted to run it through a car wash! I needed a vehicle so I took it . Once I was driving away I put the windows up and then realized why they had been rolled down, the car reeked of marijuana and they were tryi

The 2 Nissan rogues i had to rent were in great condition. Brand new 2025 vehicles and taken care of well. Alex was super nice and really compassionate toward my situation and made sure I left in a rental i was comfortable with even though their inventory was extremely limited. I appreciated his help the both times I went in. I was in and out in less than 20 min both times.

It's very disappointing to use a rental car here in Hertz San Antonio located at I-35 Frontage road.This is my first time but I am the third party, other insurance provided this rental car for me, before I went to the office I called many times but no answer.When I get there I talked to Gio he asked me to pay $ 50 for the deposit, and he did not even give a receipt nor a contract.
