Hertz Car Rental - Santa Clarita - Bouquet Canyon Road

The 5 star is only because of their representative Dante. He was the only one taking care of checking in and bringing the cars out for the visitors, imagine is the next day after Christmas and Dante is the only one. Kudos to him, and hopefully the corporation sees and values his hard work. The only complain I have is that they need to make sure that the car has all maintained down before renting it out. However, Dante mentioned this before delivering the car.

All I should need to say is the word, “DANTE”! He was so friendly over the phone 5 weeks ago and I finally came in today to return the rental and there was one of the friendliest people helping me. I finally I asked this super friendly person what his name was and he replied, “Dante”. If you have the privilege to meet him, you will be pleasantly impressed and oh yeah, they rent cars there too. I wish that I had more people at my work, everybody’s work and a friend like Dante! I would also be honored if I had Dante in my family. He is a true gem in this world!

If you need a specific vehicle you must call the day before and make sure your car will be at the location because mine was not. I rented a jeep wrangler 4wd and they did not have one. Luckily they had another 4 wd but the tires arent as great for going up to the mountains so while I accepted the vehicle due to time restraints I am not sure I would rent with Hertz again if they make a promise and contract and cant fill it. But Henry at the Santa Clarita location was so helpful and such a nice man. He did what he could to get us into a vehicle we could use and was very genuine in helping.

Came in at recommendation of dealership where warranty work was being done. A gentleman came to pick me up at the dealership in near record time. The process of renting the car was very quick--no wait, a short time to process all the information, and off in the rental. I've had longer waits & processing time at airports with all my reservation information. The staff was very friendly, fast, and efficient. Very pleased with the service, no nonsense, and good car.

The vehicle I was "guaranteed" was not there (see photo), and there was no alternative that met the requirements for the reason I reserved a Jeep Wrangler (4x4 and spare tire) available. Leaving me stranded to take an alternative vehicle that wasn't 4x4 and hope I don't need chains. Which was less likely than taking a vehicle on a road trip to Mammoth Mountain without a spare tire and being stranded if I get a flat tire that the repair kit can't fix with my young daughter and her friend. I don't mind not having a Jeep Wrangler, but they did not have an alternative vehicle that met my needs available.
