Hertz Car Rental - Simi Valley - East Los Angeles Avenue

After a few car rentals from here. I had rented the Hyundai Santa Fe a couple of times. I never liked the vehicle until I drove it on a couple of trips. Fell I love with the vehicle. Will be my next. A past rental. Where a vehicle wasn't available and had to settle for something less. They've made up for that bad experience. Will definitely. Be my go too whenever I don't want to put miles on my vehicles.

I needed a car for an emergency same day. Ash and Nick were the freaking bees knees!! These guys got me a phenomenal price, picked me up from my hotel, and got me into my car all within 40 minutes of me calling! Exceptional service! If any Hertz higher ups see this message, give those 2 men a raise or their own franchise!! Would highly recommend!

Called twice for long time. More than 10 mins Nobody picked up the call. While i am local and need to be picked up to get the rental car. I have to drive to the location,and then They don’t have pick up service. I ended up have to cancel the paid reservation. Wasted long time of my day. And the reception said has canceled the service and customer service said so said expedia will refund. However after expedia contacted them expedia said they didn’t cancel and refused to cancel. They first seemed tried not refund me but after contacting customer service again they eventually refunded me.

⚠️ Scam Alert – Hertz Simi Valley (East Los Angeles Ave) Booked a “Manager’s Special” vehicle days in advance through Hertz. When I arrived, an employee named Ashraf (“Ash”) claimed that the car I booked wasn’t available. My reservation clearly said “Manager’s Special or similar,” but he refused to give me another vehicle unless I paid extra — wiping out my discount and adding more charges. That’s not a misunderstanding — that’s a bait-and-switch scheme. When I asked for a refund, he refused to help and told me to call customer service myself. I ended up walking over to Enterprise to rent a car and lost half my day trying to get my money back. From my experience and from reading other reviews, this seems to be a pattern at this location. I got a rental from an insurance, everything good, Hertz told me I need to put my credit card just for a security deposit that was going to be refunded at the moment I get the car back, so I did, I took it to the carwash vacuumed and everything, fuel almost full (so insurance don't get charged for cleaning fee or anything, my surprise was, 1 week after y returned the car, my deposit never was refunded,plus, they charge me extra, I called them and when I tried to add the confirmation number they sent me to my email but all of the sudden, that number didn't exist, so all I kept saying is that they don't have me on their records, but I have a $50 refundable deposit plus $67 for who the hell knows, and I received an email from the insurance and they covered almost $400 for everything,so Hertz
