Hertz Car Rental - Tucson - West Ina Road

We reserved a car to be picked up at 12:00 on a Saturday. Got there at 11:55. Doors locked and no one there. I called Hertz and spoke with a representative that told us to go to the Tucson Airport rental desk and they would honor our reservation. So we did and they would not honor our reservation. We were told to cancel that reservation and make a new one. It would be treated as a walk up which was $150 more. We went to Avis and rented a car there for our original price we were going to pay at Hertz. We have been Hertz customers for many years. Now we just have to figure out how to get the fee dropped for not picking up the car we had reserved!! My question is this. Why would there be an option to choose a12:00 pick up time when they close at 12:00? (And in this case they left early. We we

The worst customer service ever, they are not locally owned or privately owned, but the staff here makes up their own rules. I was not allowed to use a debit card because my booking hadn’t been 24 hrs ahead. Which is ridiculous considering my booking confirmation mentioned NOTHING about this. They didn’t even offer any other option just left me stranded without a rental and 60 dollars short on uber rides. Thanks for ruining my trip.

This is the worst car rental place I have ever experienced. I drive with Lyft and they have a rental deal through them. They gave me a car with Engine problems. They expected me to go do the required maintenance on the vehicle and still pay for the days the mechanic had the car. I ask for a different vehicle, they gave me ANOTHER vehicle needing maintenance. I missed a total of 4 days with a vehicle because of their maintenance problems and they still expect me to pay for those days.. this is the worse service I have ever in my life delt with. Then the people that work there is incredibly rude including the manager

I booked my car online with my debit card. Read to make sure that I could pay with my debit card. When I got there to pay for that car and after running my card they told me I couldn't pay with my debit card. So them my girlfriend payed for the car and put it in her name. I got home to pack our car and saw that they had changed my debit card for 3 retails that I never got. Went back to the office to see why they still changed me for the car and then over charged me. The lady behind the counter ( who wouldn't give me her name) said it's not our problem and that they don't know why I was charged. Then she told me to cally bank because again it's not there problem. A guy that wasn't there before handed me a number and said to call them because it's not our problem we changed you and over char

Horrible, unreliable, and inconsistent. The staff lies and are careless.. Two times got screwed with a vehicle leading to being unable to rent with them for lyft. They never answer calls or respond. Poor customer service and have zero accountability.
