Hertz Car Rental - Winter Haven - Us 92

We had to get a rental vehicle due to our car being repaired and out of service for an extended period of time. First of all this hertz was 45 minutes away from our house. My wife had to take off work last minute to go get a Mazda that wasn’t no were near comparable size to our Acadia. After a few days the hertz calls and says we needed to swap the Mazda do a GM vehicle so they would cover it under warranty. No problem except Hertz called and gave no heads up and my wife again had to take off work last minute to go do this. Fast forward and our vehicle is ready last minute notified we had to return the rental. So we didn’t have the funds to fill the tank up. Hertz charged us $151 to put gas in the car. The same gas we pay $2.75 a gallon for they are charging $11.99 a gallon for. Not to men

Where do I start??? RUN From this place, spend your money elsewhere! Had a reservation and went there to change my pick up day by a few days and they told me that since I made the reservation on line they couldn't change it, only cancel it at a cost of $100 for a cancellation fee. When I tried to make a new reservation they said the rate would go up by $100 Are these people a rip off or what. Tried to speak with customer service ( two calls) and got nowhere due to off shore call centers and people who speak very poor english. This experience has been a complete disaster. Will definitely not ever go to Hertz Winter Haven AIrport again. I tried this office because it was close to my home. I usually use Enterprise and am going back! home.have rented cars many times in the past

The staff was very approachable. I felt safe enough to open up about my military service, and was told some amazing stories while I waited. I don't care what it costs, I will only be renting from this location going forward.

I went to pick up the vehicle as a loaner while mine was being repaired. When he told me what HE wanted to put me in, I refused the vehicle due to its small size. It was at this point that his entire attitude changed. He went from friendly to seeming to act like I was inconveniencing him. We agreed on an SUV, which he didn't seem very happy about. The interior was clean but smelled of marijuana and a very strong air freshener. The windshield was covered in bug guts, which made it hard to see. I had to stop at a gas station on my way home to clean it. The inside windshield was nasty and hazy. So, I had to clean that too. The oil change alert kept coming on. Which I was told was nothing to worry about because it had a recent oil change. The tire pressure alert also kept coming on. Again, I

Save yourself the trouble, Enterprise is right down the road. Never come to this place. No cars when I had a reservation. Awful customer service. $25 toll processing fee on a $3 toll. AVOID
