Had a used car pre-purchase inspection done by the good folks over at Hi Tech. I am from out of state and going through the process of having a car inspected without actually being there in person is mildly unsettling. John from Hi-Tech was easy to talk to, patient with his explanations and took the time to answer all 103 of my questions no matter how long it took to answer them :-) Jokes aside, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Yes, you pay a mechanic for a service and they are supposed to deliver with integrity and honesty, that goes without saying. However, John was flexible, understanding, and gave me the courtesy of making extra time to clear up any confusion I had, despite having his other obligations at the shop. He didn't try to rush me away so he could get back to

John was very good to me when my Ford Escape broke down suddenly. He was fair with the diagnostic test and told me the honest truth and bottom line on getting it repaired. I ultimately didn't get my Escape repaired, it was just not worth it, so I bought another new vehicle. John let my Escape stay at his lot for around 3 weeks until the dealership came and took it away, without a charge for the storage, which was extremely fair and kind of him. Once my Escape finally did get removed, he sent me a very nice follow up thank you card, and complimented the New Ford Bronco Sport Heritage I bought. Very kind of him and very considerate. I would love to recommend Hi-Tech Addison to anyone and I will return to them when I do need repair needs down the road. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I can’t say enough great things about Hi - Tech. Especially, John and Jim. The customer service is truly excellent, you’re treated with respect, honesty, and genuine care from start to finish. The pricing is fair, transparent, and honest, which is so refreshing. Most importantly, the quality of service is outstanding. The job is done right the first time, and you never have to worry about the same issue coming back. In a world where life is busy and stressful, it’s such a relief to have dependable people you can trust who clearly care about their work and their customers. I would definitely recommend their services to everyone and anyone looking for reliability, quality service, and true honesty.

Hi-Tech is the absolute best!! John and his team are so trustworthy and honest I would never go anywhere else. After having horrible experiences at Jiffy Lube, Midas, & Just Tires, I've become well versed in the dishonest repairman. Think you're getting a deal or FAST service somewhere else? Not worth the hassle that comes w/the lack of integrity in these places. The problems that come after their warranty expires (or after you drive off their lot) will never happen at Hi-Tech. I know at Hi-Tech things are done right the first time at the most fair cost. Appreciate you guys!!

I have mixed feelings about my experience here. I brought in my 2005 Prius back in November. They replaced the fuse box which got it running momentarily, but after it ran out of gas, it wouldn't start again. I ended up spending about $1,100 total. At one point, I sent a $1,000 deposit for a hybrid battery replacement because I was desperate to get the car back, but then I didn't hear from them for weeks. Eventually, after they had the car for over 3 months, they advised me to just give up on it rather than sinking $5k into it. I appreciate the honesty in the end, but I’m frustrated that it took so long to get to that conclusion. I could have put that $1,100 toward a new car instead of junking this one in January. Fair prices, but the communication and timeline were tough.
