I bought my 2000 Mazda Protege there a year ago this month and it has been a dream! For a 16 year-old car (at the time of purchase), the mileage worked out to about 8k/year, which is BELOW average. It runs like a dream, still looks new inside, and I will surely buy any future cars from Donny. I recommend him to everyone who's inquiring about a decent place to buy a vehicle and I throw in the fact he's honest, pleasant, and that he only buys cars that are mechanically sound as well as cosmetically sound. The prices are fair, considering the quality of the vehicle. I hope he's your next stop in purchasing a vehicle. You won't be disappointed!

While Don was ok at first and willing to negotiate, he had set his price and said he wasn't going to budge. That is fine and his right to do so. I told him I need to further educate myself on the vehicle before setting my final price. The following day I went to re negotiate and set my price and Don refused. Again completely within his right but the way refused turning his back on me a stomping away like a child who didn't get his way was completely unprofessional. Not to mention the guy presents himself by wearing t shirts and gym shorts. Guy has no class and I'd steer clear. If he would of been more professional he would of found out that I was also interested in another vehicle he had on his lot. Good luck staying in business in this small community.

We just purchase a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder from Don. It was the most seamless experience that I have ever had buying a car. He was not pushy and the vehicle was just as described. Even after dealer fees and tax the total cost was right at kbb evaluation. I typically hate dealing with used car dealers but this time I was pleasantly suprised. In the last month I have looked at a lot of vehicles, primarily from private owners. I was really discouraged at the price most everyone wanted when considering the mileage on the vehicles, comparing them to Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, and NADA. I had never purchased a vehicle from a car lot myself, but started to look both online and at pre-owned dealerships. In my local search I came across High Desert Auto. Don the owner had several nice vehicles, and when we pulled up he was starting up all the vehicles, as a maintenance measure. This gave us an opportunity to experience the quality of the vehicle before really picking one out. The prices were clearly marked along with the mileage on the windshield which also made it quite easy to identify a $ figure and mileage amount I was intereste
