I wanted to wait a while to post a review of this place to make it fair. I do want to start with the negative. 1. The check engine light bulb was removed from the car. The codes read that the driver side bank was lean. It looks like someone put rtv all over the intake to try and fix this, but ultimately the exhaust manifold is missing half the bolts. It’s clear someone tried to repair this, and failed. Exhaust manifold bolts are not easy to replace. Picture attached. 2. When I looked at the car and put a deposit down, the parking brake didnt work. I was told upon purchase that it would be fixed. Upon pickup, I was told he wasn’t sure what was wrong. It was a rusted brake caliper. An easy fix. When I asked if I could maybe be comped for this, (which is needed to get the car registered) I

I live in Nashville and my truck caught fire! I had drove a GMC terrain the day before from High Gear Motors, so I called them they told me to come in. We had already talked about a cash price when I drove it, the cash price was obviously lower then the payment plan price. I was not able to pay cash after all and being in the situation I was in Eddie and Monique where more than ready to help me. I got a great price on a payment plan. They had all the paperwork ready for me to sign as soon as I got there. No fault whatsoever of High Gear Motors a few weeks later my terrain broke on my way home after working 12 hours. We are very pleased with the experience we had purchasing our vehicle. The entire process was explained thoroughly to us, including details from beginning to the end. The purchase price was very fair and we plan to purchase another vehicle soon with them because of their honesty and integrity!

The owners here are great. They really do put their customers first and stand behind their product. I bought a truck from them as-is 2 days ago. Unfortunately, I had some problems with it yesterday and couldn’t drive. I contacted them and they drove out to me, replaced the part and repaired it on the spot, and then followed me to be sure everything was good. Most places I have dealt with will wash their hands of it once you drive away, but not here. I hope this review helps anyone that is cautious about buying from them and puts your mind at ease. I have been burned in the past as I’m sure a lot of people have been, but I’ll be back here if I’m looking for another ride at a reasonable price and knowing that they will take care of me if anything were to go wrong in the process.
