High Plains Crossing | Memory Care in Greeley

Mom has been here 5 days so far and couldn't be happier. It was a big change for her having lived with me and my wife the last 2 years. The staff here has been top notch. I honestly can't say enough good things about all the nurses that provide care at this facility! I stayed today and watched how they handle the residents at lunch and was super impressed. They CARE about each and every resident. Having Bloom Medical as a PCP is a huge plus and Morgan in particular is outstanding with the residents!

I am not employ by High Plains. I am not being paid for writing this review. My dad checked into High Plains about 2 weeks ago. I have been caring for my dad at home 24/7 for several years as he declined cognitively and physically at home. I read many reviews at many different homes as well as touring many homes before I decided on High Plains. I like to comment on the couple of things. 1) Taking off the clothes or abnornal social behaviors. This happen and sometimes if one interfere, it might agitate the individual more than help. As long as it is not affecting the safety of the individual or people around, it can be address when the caregiving is not in the middle of a task. I have experienced that with my dad. 2) Falls. This is the worst memory care you can put your loved ones in. Just because they changed the name doesn’t mean they changed their reputation. They neglect their patients and the staff sit and chit chit instead of doing their job. The amount of times I had to watch their patients fall victim to their laziness was ridiculous. Allowing residents to remove clothing without prompting them to put it back in, not encouraging residents to eat during meal time or keep the facility clean. I wouldn’t put my worst enemies in this facility they should be ashamed

I have the pleasure of providing music to the residents and staff a few times a month. I have always been so impressed with the friendliness of the staff and their attention to the residents, and their commitment to bringing lightness and laughter with music! We are truly enjoying getting to know the residents...and we love to see them respond to the music... Lots of smiles!! I am honored to take part!

good care givers and they should be treated better . Looks can be deceiving and unsafe for workers and residents I’ve witnessed multiple times when I came in
