Hill Country Retreat

Great items at the resort. 2 outside pools 1 inside. 2 jacuzzis. A library, billards room and private gym not to mention the ballrooms make this an all around great place to visit.

We love our neighborhood, "The Bluffs"... the Resort have great amenities and fantastic benefits, like "Voting" without leaving our neighborhood... our neighbors are all super awesome, we lost one of our doggies, and so many people offered to help us find her, we never did, but the efforts were amazing! This area have beautiful houses, streets are very clean, everything looks so neat, and most of the time it's very quiet at nights, except for when Sea World have their fireworks, and Lackland Air Force Base have their pilots' exercise, practicing night flights, and you can hear those jets flying over, for us military families it's a very familiar sound, that we call "The Sound of Freedom!"... what's not to like!!! :)

If I could give them a 0 I would. Their management company is disgraceful. They have let the amenities get ruined. I.E. the indoor pool that has been unusable since January and we have no clue when or if it will be repaired. Pulte and CCMC ARE THE PROBLEM!

I have been living here at Hill Country Retreat for 2 years and really enjoy living here because the neighbors here are great and the amenities are really nice. we enjoy the pools, and all the activities here. There is something for everyone.

Delighted as an independent widow both with my Magnolia plan, feeling of safety, and the knowledge we still have working people, often below 55. Very active encouraging group of active people. Fantastic options of interests, clubs, gym, water activities. Happy I chose HCR.
