Hill's Diesel Repair

Hill had my Duramax (transferred from Allen Samuels) for electrical problems for 2+ months. Eventually I called a tow truck and had my truck picked up and brought back home so I could spend a month watching YouTube videos and buying a Fluke 88 DVOM. The brake control module was dragging down the canbus causing the issues. Replaced the module and had Tom Light program it. If you’re having electrical problems with your diesel, stay clear of here. It’ll sit in the yard till it rusts away like the other junk that stays there. Also, my passenger fender liner is still missing, they say they didn’t lose it and Allen Samuels says they didn’t lose it but anyway, they’re both electrically incompetent and shouldn’t be trusted to diagnose modern vehicle electrical systems.

Diagnosed and repaired power drain from batteries. Also repaired alignment of shifting mechanism. All done long distance trusting owner Josh. Picked up truck after he had it one week, and after driving 10 minutes, shut down engine (1999 F-250) which would not restart and my wife and I were left stranded at night. Was very uncomfortable. Finally kind soul gave us jump start so we could get to our motel. Called JOSH @ 0700, finally showed up at 0915. Jumped again, brought back to shop...after 45 min Josh reported battery connectors were wrong size and improperly installed. He is a very nice man but after charging $1100 for both problems, to then leave the most rudimentary part of the electrical job done so sloppily makes me wonder how the rest was done?! Also $300 of the $1100 was to repair

We have 2 diesels...'97 Ford 7.0 and '04 Ford 6.0 turbo. For years I have been trying to find someone who knows diesels and can fix problems without having to take it back several times before it is actually fixed. FINALLY I found that guy at Hill's. Josh Hill is the diesel whisperer!! Love this place and will never go to any other mechanic but him again!

Hill’s did an excellent job on replacing my HPOP and rebuilding the Turbo on my 2004 Ford F250 6.0 Powerstroke. The price was a third less than the dealership quoted me and the owner Josh will keep you up to date with what’s going on with your truck. I will continue taking my Powerstroke to these guys.

Mr. Hill has a great operation going. I dropped my truck off at 4:30 in the afternoon for the transmission to be replaced and it was done by 5:30 the next afternoon. I would highly recommend these guys.
