I see dozens of cylinder heads and engines here for milling, testing, and etc. Don’t be put off by small size. The guy and his wife are very kind. Their prices are always more than fair and the speed I receive it back is great sometimes even incredible. Hes done engine work for local shops, dealerships, and my personal work. The only other machine shop I’ve ever had good luck with is Watson Rupple Performance in Sarahsville but I paid a small fortune and waited 6+ months for relatively little machining.

Summary: Unprofessional, unable to manage schedule, unable to communicate. Dont take your project here! Jeffrey of Hilltop Engine Services is happy to take on projects, and gave me an estimate of 2-3 weeks to bore a block and work on cylinder heads for a 1969 Buick 350 engine. I tried to contact him every week or two to see how the work was coming. Half of the time he did not answer the phone, nor did he ever return any calls. Fast forward 2.5 months. After 3 straight weeks of not answer the phone or returning call, I showed up at his shop at 11am on a business day. He and his wife were IRATE that I would show up unannounced asking for my parts back. The said I should have called to let them know (answer the phone much?) They were headed to lunch and asked me to come back in an hour.

jeff is the best in the business, very professional, i've had multiple engine repairs done here and i highly recommend.

I took my vehicle here and had the engine, radiator, starter, oil pan, with fluid, filter and thermostat replaced. I am happy with the work done here. I reccomend.

My price to take my motor out and to put it in was supposed to be $250 each the owner charged me $250 to take it out and $610 to put it in I took 2 motors there he looked at the first motor and said it was locked up it would not turn by hand then when I picked the 2 motors up alternators power steering pump ect was not with them my steering column was damaged so I paid almost $200 in parts to fix that myself he wanted to charge me storage but my motor was sitting in the garage and he was changing a motor outside in front of it it was there 6 months I lost thousands of dollars in business because I needed my truck I would not hire Jeff to put soap on my hands in a restaurant for fear he would not due it right
