After breaking down between New Castle and Lusk, we were stranded for 3 nights. Jim and his rescued kitties are awesome!! Although he is semi retired & had a garage full of vehicles he was working on, he went above and beyond to help us. He even gave us a discount because of our situation! Jim is definitely our hero and such a good person! Highly recommend his services to anyone in need!

My family and I started having severe car trouble returning from South Dakota to Colorado, through Lusk, WY. We barely made it into town on a Sunday afternoon and no shops were open. But I called Jim at Hiway Brake & Alignment Services and surprisingly he answered and told me to come over first thing the next morning. He and his head mechanic diagnosed the problem, had the parts and fixed us up in under four hours. They were friendly, had a well equipped shop and affordable rates. Great folks.

The gentleman who works here (I believe Jim is his name) helped to diagnose an issue with my Audi when I started having problems just outside of Lusk. He was not obligated to help me as my issue was outside of his field of expertise but he took time out of his day to help me, a traveler, try to get back on my way. While we were not able to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue, his equipment at least gave me an idea of where to start looking for ideas to solve the problem with my car. He gave me a recommendation for a mobile mechanic in the area that could help me further. Class act.

On our way home from Denver our vehicle broke down, and we had to have repairs immediately. Jim, the owner, assessed the repairs, ordered parts (at a very low price), and worked so quickly. He even drove us to a hotel, since parts had to be ordered overnight service and it was close to 5 pm. I believe we have never been treated so kindly and fast by any service provider - vehicle or otherwise. Simply the best service by a very honest and outstanding business.

This place is the best. Jim (the owner) is probably one of the most trustworthy, friendly, capable, happy people I have ever met. A wheel bearing went out on my car while passing through Lusk, WY while still 8 hours from home. That's the kind of thing that can really stress a person out. I saw 3 other reviews of 5 stars so I drove over there. Jim had tons of cars stacked up. He could easily have turned me away. Instead he jumped in my car and road around the block to figure out what was wrong. Most people would have just turned me away. You could tell he was thinking about all those cars he had in front of me but he genuinely wanted to help. He found the part, had it delivered overnight and fixed it by 9:00 AM the next morning.
