I came in with my 2 year old daughter needing a patch for my tire unexpectedly. They were extremely accommodating and kind. They assured me everything was okay and that they were going to fix it right away. They showed me to their amazing waiting room and told me I could put on a movie for my daughter. For anyone with a toddler, you can understand how stressful this situation could have been. I'm genuinely so thankful for their help and I'll now be coming here for all of my auto care needs. Not sure if it is dishonesty or incompetence but I will not be back to Hoffmaster's. I have had 2 incidences that caused me to lose all confidence in this shop. The most egregious was that they quoted me $7,000 for a transmission replacement which turned out to be a $700 battery sensor replacement and a software update after I took it to a dealership service center. In addition, when I informed Hoffmaster's that I was not going to have the work done at their shop, they added $300 to the bill from what they previously told me the price would be. They told me it was for a battery replacement which I neither requested nor approved and I had not experienced any issues with my battery before bringing it to their shop.
