I've taken multiple cars(Honda Civic 5 Speed & Toyota Celica GTS 6 Speed) to Hometown through the last 10 years and recently had my car work done. They are always on point with what you need and willing to work with you if you buy your own parts! This was a big reason why I have come back time and time again. As a result of their honesty when i even ordered an incorrect part I got a replacement ordered by them quickly and without breaking the bank. Hometown Automotive is a fair, honest, trustworthy, and reliable American business that you should feel proud of supporting! My family and I were in the middle of vacation travels and far from home when our vehicle started to overheat. We absolutely panicked because we had no idea where to go to have it looked at. Thankfully, through Google, we found Hometown Automotive (with incredible reviews) only a few miles away. As soon as we pulled in, the gentleman (the owner) stopped what he was in the middle of doing just to help us. After taking the time to examine our car and add coolant, he advised us that we should be fine to continue on our trip and also gave us directions to the nearest auto supply store so that we could purchase a jug of coolant to keep with us, just in case the car start

I have to say that life is funny. I met Lee many years ago at his previous job. My mechanic closed and I needed to find a new one. I called hometown to make an appointment, to my surprise I walked in to see Lee working there. He is always very honest. Highly recommend.

My son's car broke down on the way back to Long Island from Cortland. Had the car towed over to Hometown Automotive. They are friendly, helpful and most of all, honest. They quickly got the car fixed at a very fair price. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you

They know how to diagnose a problem and fix it right the first time. They will give you an accurate quote and not fix what don't need fixing (no inflated costs). They call you before they start any work to get your OK. Great friendly guys. Do I recommend them, highly
