Honest Engine & Auto Tune Up

This review is overdue..my apologies. In September 2024 we were stranded 2 hours from home visiting our family. Nasser was amazing! I'm disabled and we are on a fixed income. He inspected our car and noticed that our ac compressor was very new but wasn't properly done by our previous mechanic. He recommended for us to go back to our mechanic since the part would be still under warranty and would save us the cost to redo the repair all over again. He helped us get tow service to get home safely. He went above and beyond to help us. We owe him so much and are soo grateful. Highly recommend this shop. They are very honest and kind. They very much live up to their shop name. Thank you so much!

They fix your car. fix it right. Half the price of the dealership. Don't try to upsell. Will return for maintenance.

Ernesto is very comptent friendly and I even bought a used car from him at a great price. He and his associates have always treated me with respect and explained every charged and save me money every time.

I was born and raised here in modesto and I've tried so many car shops and like it says in their name they are extremely fair and honest. I won't take my car anywhere else. Very friendly and knowledgeable and won't rip you off. Great place!

Been going to this shop for a couple of years. They really do live up to the Honest name. I’m not a professional mechanic but do know a little about auto repairs. Would do more on my own but don’t have a lift or a shop. I have never felt they try to take advantage of me or sell services I don’t need. Very happy with everything done so far. Will continue to use them in the future. Thank you!
