I took my car to have the transmissions oil and filter changed but turns out that wasn't my issue at all. So they fixed my car andits was almost $ 45 cheaper then expected. It's nice to find a honest mechanic that just isn't out for your money.

Steve and his dad Ray are honest and hard working men and have very reasonable rates. I know some shops will take advantage of me being a woman (and have), but when I leave House Automotive I know my car will be fixed and fixed properly and I can drive off with confidence. I highly recommend House Automotive to anyone in and around West Frankfort.

We had the pleasure of breaking down near this lovely business after the solar eclipse. We had 400 miles to drive and it was 95 degrees out but Ray and Steve House did a wonderful job of getting us back on the road. Ray and his wife Gloria could not have been any kinder to our family while the work was being done. They are absolutely delightful people and treated us like family. Kind, honest, hard working people that restore your faith in humanity. Steve actually escorted us out of town to beat some traffic and led us to a restaurant to get some dinner before getting back on the road. Could not give a stronger recommendation. Wish they were closer to us!
