I contacted this tire shop before coming in and was told the installation for the tires I purchased would be $25. Once I arrived, the price started to change. First, they said I needed new valve stems for $5 each, which I agreed to. Then the technician told me the wheels needed to be cleaned or the tires would leak air. When I asked the manager, he said cleaning all four wheels would cost $60. At that point, it felt like the costs kept increasing with add-ons that didn’t seem necessary. The experience came across as misleading and unprofessional, and the lack of transparency made me lose trust in their business. Just be careful with shops like this. Recently, I had two tires completely pop on the freeway and needed someplace to go for repair and replacement. AAA recommended house of tires to me and their service was great. They really helped me out being that I was in a rough situation and I appreciate them not taking advantage of me as, sadly, some businesses would. The most dishonest business of any kind, I've ever dealt with! It started on aug.27,2025. I brought in a new wheel and tire and spoke to "Sal" directly. I had put a 4 inch long scuff on the outer portion. "Sal" assured me that he's, it could be fixed. He said $125 just to paint, or $200 powder coat. I left my wheel and tire with Sal at 12 noon on the 27th, with the understanding that it would be deposited and then powder coated for $200. In the meantime, Sal is having someone look for a wheel to loan me. This is a 2 week new vehicle and you have a couple of people literally trying to force something that obviously does not fit! I told him to STOP, put my temp on. Otherwise, i have stripped threads. Something did not suit well with me. I told Sal my ocd will find any imperfections if not
