Hughes Paint & Body Works Towing & Recovery

We were charged $1,751.00 in total, including $550 for towing and a $50 per day storage fee. Our truck was towed less than 0.8 miles following an accident on January 9, 2026. The Oxford Police Department contacted the towing company because the vehicle was not drivable. I went to their shop the same day as the accident and was told that we had to wait until the insurance adjuster cleared the vehicle. Since the accident occurred on a Friday, we had to wait until Monday to contact the insurance company. After that, I began calling the towing company almost daily. I left multiple voicemails but was never able to speak with anyone directly, and my calls were not returned. Mr. Hughes was very professional, super helpful and a problem solver!!! He was unable to transport my electric car with a super flat tire that resisted fix a flat and air compressors. However, he actually came out to check the tire, took it to be inspected, patched and put it back on my car saving me a $500 tow back to Birmingham. Thanks to him everyone in my house was able to get where they needed to be today!

Hughes worked seamlessly with my insurance company on a repair. Couldn’t have asked for better work! Even cleaned the car before we picked it up. Super impressed!

Absolutely love these guys, my 07 Toyota Matrix totaled when somebody ran a red light they were very nice understanding and respectable.
