Probably the worst repair center in all of nyc. My trunk would randomly open for no reason. One time someone robbed my tools out of my trunk. I came here to get it fixed, they told me they inspected it and nothing was wrong. A few months later, it opens again. This time in the middle of a snow storm and everything in my trunk was destroyed. Then my engine completely blew out, white smoke everywhere. I brought it to this atrocious "repair center" and they didn't even offer me a loaner vehicle. I had to use my mother's car to get to work while she lost money working. Then they told me they wouldn't repair the vehicle even though there was an open recall on it because there was no code... even though my engine was engulfed in smoke just prior. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had in having a car serviced. I dropped my car off in December after changing the battery and car not starting properly afterwards. I was told up front that they were busy and would be at least a week before they were able to look at it. I had no problem with that and trusted them with my car. A couple of weeks went by with no contact from the service center so I made several attempts to get a status update, starting with the number on the service receipt I received. There was no answer so a voicemail was left. After not receiving a response I continued to reach out while looking for additional contacts including the dealership. I own a 2024 that's 1.5-year-old Hyundai Palisade and recently took it to Hyundai City of Bay Ridge for service. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The dealership charges a $250 diagnostic fee if they determine the issue isn’t covered under warranty — essentially leaving customers with no option to take their vehicle elsewhere. In my case, there was water leaking from the sunroof, which should never happen in a vehicle this new. Hyundai provides no clear guidance on sunroof maintenance, so this issue should have been covered under warranty. Instead of addressing the root cause (a leaking sunroof), the dealership focused on claiming the internal drainage system needed cleaning — conveniently a service that cost $250. What a terrible experience and sloppy work. Brought my new car to get detailed (minor scuffs and stains when they sold it to me) and while I was pointing out areas to clean up, a mechanic drove a different car off a lift and rammed into my car (see photos). Took 1.5 months to “fix”, but the work was so sloppy (beat up headlight, bad paint job) and unacceptable so they reluctantly took it back to fix again. The service director had the audacity to speak to us with an attitude as if we were the ones that hit their car when in fact this was their entire fault. It took another month before the car was properly fixed and returned, but now my EZ Pass is missing and was used by someone at their shop. Jocelyn and Jay are the nicest, most patient, helpful service representatives that I've had the pleasure to deal with. My car has had a mysterious inconsistent issue, making it difficult to diagnose. Even though I felt like I was going crazy - they were both patient, understanding and helpful.
