Went here to have an emission inspection on my daughter’s car. Around 10am on a Wednesday, no line, no wait. Pulled in and the attendant fiddles with the OBD2 connector for about 5 min, couldn’t get it plugged in. Another person tried as well and again no dice. Gave me a FAIL and told me to go to a repair shop to fix it. Huh? Did this last year at Skokie and no problem whatsoever and the car’s connector has never been tampered with. Obviously it’s not my car’s problem. I asked if I could look at it (I’m a retired automotive engineer) nope the attendant told me to leave as I cannot block the lane (there were 6 lanes open with not a single car waiting). So I pulled around to the parking lot, loosened the connector and went back in line. Test was fine and got a pass. Interesting that my Goo
