The folks at Illi's have done great work on my truck (a 1986 Dodge Ram). Larry always takes time to talk me through problems he sees and to give me the best advice possible. Ill's is a 10/10 shop and I highly recommend them to anyone who has an old truck or just needs a mechanic that they can trust.

We've used Illi's Auto for over fifteen years for both our everyday car and our classic car. The staff are knowledgeable always willing to give you a complete rundown on what your car needs and why. We wouldn't trust anyone else.

Larry/Illi's has been my mechanic for 20+ years. After my first visit I was hooked, because he always explained everything in a way that a non auto person could understand it, would offer other solutions to solve a problem if the first/best solution was too expensive for a broke student like me, and was just always friendly. But most importantly, they are fair and fast straight shooters, and I trust them implicitly. I've been to many mechanics in AA, and Illi's was the one that actually found the problems and fixed them correctly as opposed to just sending me off without clear guidance on what to do next... I've since moved away from AA proper but I still bring my car in to them because I 100% trust them on all my cars!!

The power steering on my brother's Jeep Patriot went out just as he arrived in Ann Arbor for a Labor Day visit. We didn't want him to drive back to Kalamazoo with auto issues, so I called around local mechanics to try to find somewhere that could help us quickly, knowing it'd be tough coming out of a holiday weekend. The owner Larry was so kind and helpful, and was able to locate the issue, order a replacement part, and do the repair in just a few days. The information was very thorough and the cost was extremely reasonable. I am grateful to have found Illi's and will definitely be a return customer! Thank you Larry & team!
