Import Specialties of Columbia

Brought in my 1970 Beetle I had just bought. It was a daily driver and is still being driven several days a week. The crew at import specialities went through it for me and I knew it needed work. They took care of my immediate needs and gave me a list of things that they suggested needed attention. Their labor cost a little high but I feel that if you want it done right then it’s gonna cost a little more. I’ll be taking my car back to them for more work soon. David and Kim were great and I had absolutely no problems.

The most terrible business I've ever dealt with! I called and set an appointment. The only thing the guy asked me was what my car was doing. So I rented a trailer, drove 50+ miles to bring them my car. When I got there, I noticed 2 guys walked out before I took my car off the trailer. One guy started explaining the diagnostic process being 195 an hour......I was cool with that. Then out the blue.....he said he needs a 1000 dollars before my car can get off the trailer! I've never heard anything like that before coming from a Mechanic shop. That should've been explained over the phone so it could've saved me a trip! I think I know what was the problem, but I'll keep that silent!

I was very pleased with the customer service experience and the repairs that I received! I was most impressed that Mr David, the owner, got on the phone with me himself and explained the situation with my Benz opposed to having another person explain what my car needed. Also, the ladies in the front office were very kind and timely in answering my questions via telephone and email. I'll definitely come back if I need services.

From the front desk to the owner everyone has an attitude problem. How you send me an email for service and mad because your company has awful customer service? Telling me you have a 1,000 customers means absolutely nothing to me. You still are rude. Kim please be mindful that you are not a bully. Watch your mouth. Nothing about you says customer service. NOTHING!

Great place! Called them Tuesday afternoon because my Jaguar was idling rough and very jerky at low speeds. They had the part ordered, replaced, and my car back to me within a day and a half. Thank y’all!! Will definitely be coming back here.
