Choosing this shop literally saved my life. I brought my car in for a check up before I drove across the country. They recommended I get all weather tires and new windshield wipers. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t think it sounded that important. I am so thankful I took their advice because I had to drive through the most insane storm. I don’t think I would have made it through without them. Thank you! They also sent me a calendar, above average service.

Had some catalytic converters installed labor only $400. Check engine light would not go off. Had to take it back. Another $400 and change for a o2 sensor. Seemed pretty shady to me.. Dont say i didn't warn you. Find a good mechanic instead. Nice ppl horrible ethics

Very friendly owners felt very trustable, which is always nice. They’ve been in business for lots of years. Maybe not the cheapest place to take a car, but I feel the most thorough by far.

I've been with this shop, and Al Prince, since they were Honest Engine of Midtown, Sacramento. I respect their competence and integrity, and feel respected in return as they patiently satisfy my questions. I wouldn't risk going to another shop unless forced to because finding out if a business is reputable is hazardous and hard work.

Jim and his crew are absolutely amazing! I have been having transmission issues and was told that it needed to be programmed. We took it to Jim and he 100% confirmed that it was indeed my transmission and nothing to do with it being programmed. Jim is extremely honest, professional and has amazing customer service. We will be back in the future to work with Jim. I should have brought my vehicle here from the beginning.
