J & A Towing

My car got towed here after a accident, and after not hearing back from the insurance our car unfortunately sat and was probably frustrating, however J&A towing was very patient and kind to us during this experience. They were quick to come and very easy to work with! Definitely support them if you can.

Fifteen years of owning my car and never locked keys inside. I was in Gettysburg on that Saturday morning. My Honda service representative contacted 4 companies and J and A was the only one able to respond. Driver (owner?) was here in 1/2 hour. Very professional and friendly. Opened my SUV in minutes! Extremely unprofessional. When I called to get the address for where they towed my car, they told me to call them back when I had a better attitude and hung up on me. When I called back they cussed me out. They charged me $560 to get my car. They only accept cash so you need to email your receipt to Pennsylvania and the IRS so these people are held accountable for their $560 cash only charges. There was snow piled up everywhere that day and the tow sign was covered by snow. That same day they towed a row of cars of people eating breakfast Sunday morning at the Honey Bee restaurant in downtown Gettysburg. Towing cars on a Sunday morning from downtown 7-11 where the tow sign was covered by snow and charged everyone $560. Way to go guys! Class act.

If you need any type of towing service this company is the one I would highly recommend. Not only did they arrive quickly they were helpful in finding a rental car place that was available. Very pleasant, professional and helpful.

Called AAA because I needed a tow. Dan from J&A Towing was phenomenal. He was quick to respond to the call. He communicated and did a great job getting my car onto the flatbed tow truck even though my car was stuck in park. Dan protected my car from further damage and used “skates” to move my car onto the truck. He was friendly and courteous, making a bad situation more bearable. Will be checking out the service center for any future repairs.
