Took my VW TDI here for a cooling fan issue. Was told upfront that diagnostics would be free. The next day, I got a $750 quote to replace just one fan — a part I can buy myself for ~$130, with the full assembly included. When I declined, they charged me a “diagnostic” fee anyway, even though I already told them the problem and they gave me no new findings. No written authorization, no transparency, and very unprofessional customer service (including being told to “never come back”). If you’re looking for honest auto repair in Newton/Boston area , I recommend going elsewhere. Clear pricing and good communication are important, and I did not experience either here.

They are honest and professional, and their prices are reasonable. They have been taking care of my car since I moved to the neighborhood 7 years ago.
