Carmelo was the best! My husband Shelton broke down on I-95 at the Hardeeville exit. Allen’s Towing recommended J and C and towed the truck there for him. Carmelo did not disappoint. He listened to what Shelton said happened, got right down under the truck and then took it for a ride and instantly knew what was wrong. Was able to fix it within 30 minutes and he was a super busy guy. Got him back on the road but told him something else needed looked at (but was safe to drive the 3 hours home). Price was very reasonable. If we lived closer he would be our mechanic for sure. With Allen’s Towing and J and C auto Hardeeville, SC had two gems for sure.

Carmelo is amazing. We broke down heading to FL from MD and had to be towed to his shop. He fixed our car at a reasonable price and saved our trip. If we lived closer he’d be our regular mechanic.

Ended up with a dead idler pulley on a road trip. The guys at J&C were able to replace it and get me back on the road in no time!

I've had many more repairs done at J & C since my review 8 months ago, and ALL their work has been top-notch. Regarding yesterday's repairs, (7-8-2025), I'm not sure what all magic they worked on my suspension related problems, but I know Carmelo and Poncho went above and beyond! Thank you for the accurate diagnostic and getting me safely back on the road. It's like driving a new car. I appreciate you both so much. 🙏 8 months ago: Tires, then starter replacement Tuesday, rack and pinion replacement yesterday...Poncho is meticulous, careful, and patient in his work. The rack and pinion replacement is a long, complicated ordeal. I watched his process during quite a lot of it, and it was like watching a masterful artist. Thank you SO much, Carmelo and Poncho, for doing such outstanding work
