Took truck back 2 times after transmission rebuild for issues. The second time went to pick up 5 different times only to find out it was not finished because owners would not contact me nor answer phones calls. Owner said he would take care of a transmission line for me for having to wait so long only to charge me more money to get truck fixed.

JJ said that it would cost less then 1000 dollars and should be around 900 to rebuild and put back in my transmission. I chose him because he said this other other places saying it could cost 1400. By the end of him fixing it he charged us 1356 and never said anything about it being more. He then said that the gas was leaking and didn’t want us to take it without it being fixed. He said that he would just do it or it would at most be 80 dollars. Couple days later came back and he pulled out a bill of 224. On top of This and him claiming that everything works amazing and perfectly. We got my truck home and the transmission still leaks and wouldn’t even start for a while. The next day driving it as well the transmission linkage fell off while I was driving! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I took my 1993 Toyota pickup to this shop to have some work done on the brakes and to have the water pump and timing belt replaced. Although I wasn't given an exact estimate, I was told that it wouldn't be that much. I was told that it would be ready in a few days, but when I checked back a few days later it wasn't ready. This went on for a few days later, but eventually they had it ready a week after I dropped it off (not bad actually considering the amount of work required.) The reason why it took them a few extra days was because some of the guys didn't show up to work the day after the Super Bowl and then the timing belt took some time to properly adjust. Knowledgeable but sometimes slow. If JJ does the work it's great. Had an engine swap and the mechanic stole my $250 MSD coil packs. Later found he broke off studs that hold the coils in place. Was supposed to keep the extra 4x4 trans. Never got it.
