J & M Auto Service - 41st St

Great service!! We take all of our vehicles for work here and they do a great job! I was in a pinch with a flat tire on my trailer... I had a spare but didn't have the best tools to change the tire on my own and they fit me in at the end of the day to get me back on the road. Highly recommend!

I’m so impressed with my first experience here. As someone who works in marketing and customer experience, I think J&M nailed it. I got a direct mail piece from them with a clear incentive, and their customer experience during my appointment was fantastic. The team was friendly, dressed nicely and professionally, and seemed to enjoy their job. I especially appreciate the list of potential issues in my vehicle that they sent home with me. They provide a rank for concerns with cost estimates so I know what’s priority and what to plan for. This is such a great way to build trust and transparency because so many shops try to sell you on repairs right away and it’s hard to know if you really need them or not. Me and my wife both use j&m Auto service for our cars and we are very pleased. We have had great experiences every time going there with the great staff and I'd like to give a shout out to the mechanics. Those guys work even though they're behind the scenes and don't get seen by the customers. They are much appreciated and thank you for Joe for being with me every step of the way throughout the process of my car getting serviced.

So the service is good, they'll promptly repair your vehicle. I'm sure they do it properly, as well. However, they're overcharging by hundreds of dollars for repairs. They don't adequately itemize your receipt either, so it's impossible to tell what factors into that inflated price. I've used them a couple times, but they're really not worth your time or money. It's cheaper to tow your vehicle from their parking lot to a mechanic shop that respects their customers more.

I feel confident in the advice and work J&M provides. Not all auto shops are run the same and it's important to be able to trust the person you're working with. Also love their courtesy service!! Makes things so much easier!
