I've been coming here for 5 years, and I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. They're honest, never try to upsell unnecessary work, and it's clear they genuinely care more about helping people than making a quick profit. My full-synthetic oil change only takes 20-30 minutes here, and it's $40 less than Valvoline. Once you bring your car here, you won't need to take it anywhere else; I promise.

Refused to do my transmission fluid despite the car having been inspected and cleared by the dealer for it. Did not understand what I said to them despite clarifying multiple times that it’s all good, just needed the fluid done. Didn’t reply to my emails at all after instructing me over the phone to email them. I had to call them just to get in touch again. I’m at a loss for words honestly. I want to give 1 star but have heard those get filtered out of the overall rating at times.

They diagnosed and fixed my car the same day with reasonable cost and being clear. Thank you!

I called J Motors this morning for an oil change and overall wellness check of my Hyundai due to some weird technical issues. I explained the issue and the person I spoke with was SO helpful and honest. He explained they don't specialize in Hyundais and suggested I go to the dealership instead. He also explained what could be wrong, as well as tips on how to deal with the dealership (overselling, recalls, manuf campaigns, etc.) While I ended up not scheduling work with J Motors, I am highly impressed with my interaction and will now recommend them to anyone!

I love these guys. I have been coming here for years and I will not go anywhere else. They’re honest, thoughtful, great with communication, and their prices are so reasonable. They’ve come up with solutions to save my old Honda 2007 when other mechanics thought it was time to buy another car and/or pay thousands to repair it. With an old car, there are inevitably problems that come up- the difference is that J Motors helps me figure out what is truly in need of fixing and how to do so without breaking the bank. They’re also very methodical about repairs - they’ll do one thing at a time rather than full overhauls. They’ve probably saved me thousands of dollars over the years. I’ve never had better mechanics, hands down. Support this small business!
