Recently had a T C replaced, same awesome Quality Team effort. James and Mikey at J&R Transmissions are the real deal! Very personable and polite, their skills/knowledge and communication are stellar. They are the epitome of top-notch professionalism!

Very good people James is a very good man I took my car in to get my transmission done and he gave me a very good price. When it was time to pay he waived the cost of my fluid and saving that extra money helped me out tremendously money is tight so I'm truly greatful for them and the service I received I easily saved $2,000 thanks to James and his team.

Stay away from this place before they did anything without even seeing car I was told I probably messed whole transmission up already. A boy with painted finger nails and ear rings drive car around the block wouldn't talk to me had his dad come tell me I needed everything new transmission torque converter everything was bad cost 2800. Car only has occasional problem in first gear. Then they had me wait while they looked for a used transmission in under 5 minutes I was told they couldn't find one worth putting in. They state that most transmission don't need a complete rebuild but without looking that's what they wanted to do. I called to get some information about the business and possibly bring my car there and whoever answered the phone was very rude. He answered by saying “you’re coming up as spam, what do you want?” We had a bad connection so it was difficult to hear the guy so I had asked him to repeat what he said and he seemed to be mad at me for simply trying to hear him. I asked about my car and he responded rudely, I then asked him what his name was so I could thank him for his time and HE HUNG UP ON ME! Not sure how you can possibly run a business with such rudeness towards a potential customer. I am new to Tucson, but rest assured I will make sure everyone I come in contact knows how poorly I was treated. Wish I could give negative stars!

Took my Chevy truck into their shop with a 3rd and 4th gear not working,2800$(cash price-?) and they rebuilt the tranny. Now I'm having the same issue and they tell me 1700 to fix,1200 for return customer(cash price). Originally they said they put a 4x4 rebuild kit in a 2x4 case-thats not what I paid for. Got my truck back,had no inspection plate on it,the tranny pan was much smaller than the one on it when I took it in. Said 200 more to get one,shouldnt it have one upon returning my truck to me? 2800 dollars got me a transmission that lasted 13 months and was told "you don't get as much out of them as you do when they are new"-REALLY!?!!
