J & W Automotive

Since moving to NC from up north, I originally kept driving up north periodically to get my truck serviced for major things, but I needed to find a local shop for maintenance. J&W really fit the bill. Their diesel techs are really well versed in maintenance and they have been able to do whatever I can ask them. I am so glad I find them, because those stealerships out there just like to take your money and just do the bare minimum, just put a bandaid on it and we'll see you again in a month. 10/10 Recommended.

J&W Automotive exists in that special tier of small business that makes you want to go out of your way to spread the word about them. They bring to the table exactly what we need more of: Knowledgeable, fair, and friendly auto service. You can't find a better group of people to have work done on your car.

I called and was told they could work me in on Thursday, September 4. I called later that day and left a message as well. Never received a call. Friday morning I called and was ripped up one side and down the other because I had called several times. So I stopped calling and waited. As of today, September 15, I was told they couldn't fix it. Please, don't expect any kind of professional when you deal with this business. I've never been treated in such rude and horrible attitude. Don't expect a reasonable response as well. Wouldn't refer this business to any family or friend. Just completely rude!!!! And was charged for a diagnostic test that didn't happen.

Been here three times so far for brakes, oil change, and tire checks. Everyone here is so friendly. I appreciate them being upfront and honest about what needs to be done and prices. They were able to squeeze me in quickly before an unexpected road trip to make sure my brakes were okay. Will definitely continue coming here.

I went here first time for the NC inspection. Great service, I heard a few customers asking for advice on some mechanical issues and the staff were so honest, open and took the time to explain that I’m sold on using them for future auto maintenance & work. Rare to find this type of business anymore.
